Community Medical Group of Riverside Implements Meta's Patient Chart Tracking Software
Even with migration to EMR, powerful software is essential to manage existing paper charts
New York, NY — Meta Health Technology has announced that Community Medical Group of Riverside, Inc. (COMGRI) has implemented Meta's PowerTrac software to track patient charts in their multi-specialty practice.
The group is currently migrating to an electronic medical record system, but still needed a software solution to manage a significant volume of paper records. According to Leonard Cayman, MCSE, Director of Management Information Systems for COMGRI, “We are working diligently toward a full EMR environment, but paper charts are still currently in use in the practice. We needed a chart tracking product that was proven and that would integrate smoothly with the new EMR system. Meta's PowerTrac was recommended by our EMR vendor, which made us comfortable with the choice. The product has also been very well-accepted by our users. I don't hear anything about it these days, which is a good indication for me that things are running well.”
